Mont Morissette Regional Park
A Heightening Experience !
Located 30 minutes south of Maniwaki, in the municipality of Blue Sea, Mount Morissette occupies an area of 589 hectares and rises to a height of 400 meters.
Outdoor enthusiasts will greatly appreciate the 13 km of marked hiking trails through the mountain, also accessible in the winter for snowshoeing.
At the summit you will find a shelter with wood stove, a lookout and a heritage fire tower.
A new observation tower and educational panels on the history of forest fires were inaugurated in October 2013. The 18 meter new tower offers spectacular panoramic views: 360° of breathtaking scenery.
